TXAPANTRI

Txapantri tells the story of Iñaki Plaza, a musician from Orduña, who decides to embark upon a musical adventure: he leaves his birthplace Orduña in the Basque Country to bring his txalaparta, pandero and trikitixa, all key instruments of Basque musical culture, to Madrid, and there he begins to give classes on how to play these instruments. Together with Iñaki and his students, the viewer discovers Euskadi’s cultural richness, its impact on Madrid and the power of music as a universal language.
